MY PHILOSOPHY
Travel requires intentional pacing and the courage to be curious.
Striking balance to allow for spontaneity and connection while following an itinerary is not easy. I have traveled in many different settings — as a solo traveler, a business traveler, and a traveler in a small’ish group — and I have learned how to weave in opportunities for unexpected discoveries while crafting a unique and fulfilling schedule.
Intention
Every element matters - the nondescript restaurant you might have walked past without a second glance, the guide who grew up swimming in the neighborhood waterfall, the day trip to a village that very few tourists see. My global connections will ensure that you have intentionally curated touchpoints.
Immersion
Connection customized to your curiosity. Cook alongside a Turkish grandmother or observe the world from a local café on the Danube. Depth of understanding can be reached by doing or by observing, but it takes intentionality
Insight
Having context for the place you are visiting allows for curious perspective vs. judgment. Knowing the cultural norms and traditions creates room for meaningful connections and conversations. I will provide opportunities for you to learn in ways that feel organic and not academic.
