Transparency & Travel Partner Statement

At Latitude by Design, recommendations are built around fit, trust, and the kind of experience I would feel confident recommending to someone I care about.

Like many travel advisors, I may receive commission from certain hotels, tour companies, cruise lines, or travel suppliers when a client books through me. That said, commission does not determine who I recommend. I choose partners based on the quality of the experience, reliability, responsiveness, local knowledge, guest care, and whether they bring a genuine sense of place and authenticity to the journey.

My goal is to connect clients with travel partners who are experienced, ethical, and thoughtful, not simply the ones with the most effective marketing or highest payout. I look for the human touch: guides who know their communities, hotels with character and care, and suppliers who treat travelers well when everything goes smoothly and when it does not.

Some trip planning may be included when travel is booked through Latitude by Design. For more complex, highly customized, or research-intensive itineraries, a travel design fee (also called a planning fee) may apply. This allows me to give the planning process the time, attention, and professional care it deserves.
